Predators Dominate Cyclones with Ruthless Third-Period Display

The Peterborough Predators produced one of their strongest performances of the season with a commanding 10–4 victory over Nottingham Cyclones at Planet Ice Peterborough, powered by a four-goal night from Shaun Mcleavy and a relentless attacking display.

The Peterborough Predators delivered an outstanding offensive performance on home ice, overpowering Nottingham Cyclones 10–4 in an entertaining and fast-paced contest at Planet Ice Peterborough.

Led by a sensational four-goal performance from Shaun Mcleavy, the Predators exploded offensively across all three periods and finished strongly to secure an emphatic victory in front of the home crowd.



First Period

The Predators made a confident start and opened the scoring through Shaun Mcleavy at 15:15 after excellent setup play from Jay Cullimore and Euan Simpson.

Momentum continued to build late in the period when Harley Wardley doubled the lead at 19:39, assisted by Andy White, giving Peterborough a deserved 2–0 advantage heading into the break.



Second Period

The Cyclones responded early in the second period with goals from Ashley Burrows and Katya Oliver to briefly level the game and swing momentum back toward the visitors.

However, the Predators regained control midway through the frame. Davis Malins restored the lead with a well-taken finish assisted by Andy White before Shaun Mcleavy added a powerplay goal late in the period to make it 4–3 heading into the final period.



Third Period

Peterborough completely took over in the third period with an explosive attacking display.

Shaun Mcleavy completed his hat trick just over a minute into the period before the Predators continued piling on the pressure through Jay Cullimore, Davis Malins, Andy White and Harley Wardley.

Mcleavy added his fourth of the night late in the game as the Predators closed out a dominant 10–4 victory in style.
