Peterborough Predators app

Last updated: 20 July 2026

This privacy policy explains how the Peterborough Predators mobile app (“the app”), provided by Geekee Limited (“we”, “us”), handles information. We’ve kept it deliberately simple, because the app collects very little.

The short version

Information we handle

Push notification token. If you turn on match notifications, your device provides an Apple Push Notification (APNs) token. We store this token on our own server so we can send you alerts (for example, when a game goes live or a goal is scored). The token does not identify you personally. If you turn notifications off, or the token becomes invalid, it is removed.

Club staff sign‑in. Authorised club staff can sign in with a username and password to record live scores. This is only used to verify that a person is permitted to update match data. General users never need to sign in, and we do not create accounts for fans.

Technical logs. Like most websites and apps, our hosting server may automatically record standard technical information (such as IP address and time of request) for security and to keep the service running reliably. We do not use this to build profiles of individuals.

What we do NOT collect

How information is used

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your information for marketing. Notification content is delivered through Apple’s Push Notification service, which is required to reach your device. Our data is stored on our own hosting provider, which processes it on our behalf to operate the service.

Data retention

Notification tokens are kept only while notifications are enabled and the token is valid. Match, team and news data shown in the app is club content, not personal data about app users.

Children

The app is rated suitable for all ages and is intended as a general‑audience club app. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can turn notifications on or off at any time in the app (More > Notifications) or in your device’s Settings. Turning them off stops us sending alerts and removes the associated token.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we’ll update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
